THE RAVENS - THE RULING MONARCHS ELITE GUARD
The Ravens, 21 men and women from all of the Chimaeran races, are an elite
guard like no other. Not unlike the old Praetorian Guard of Caesar Augustus’s reign in
old Rome, the Ravens are the personal army and protector’s of the current ruler of the
Chimaera. Founded by Marius when he became the first ruler of the Chimaera, the Ravens are the best
fighters of each clan. Their loyalty is to the Chimaeran nation itself and thus
it’s ruler. Think of them like the Navy Seals, Green Berets, Special Forces all rolled into one. You
do not want to cross the Ravens. Marius had the undivided loyalty of the
Ravens, Gia does not. Everything changed with the coup that Darian Noblesse
staged. Half of the Ravens sided with the Noblesse Matriarch, the
other with Queen Noblesse. The final Raven, Daniel, remains undecided
and has disappeared.
